I've been trying to do research on bipolarism lately and I know that it isn't her fault or anything but ... sometimes my girlfriend just seems to get really upset/angry at me for no reason that I can see. Then when I try to find out what I did to set it off so I can apologize or try to do something about it she gets more angry and just snaps at me to go away. But then I feel like I'm a useless person and can't do anything but be a bother to her or something like that.
I mean I guess I should just leave her alone and hope that she'll calm down but it's really hard especially when half the time I don't even know what button I probably pushed. Are there any tips for handling this kind of thing? Thanks
Hi Orasa I personally am not Bipolar, however there are plenty of those who are here.
Hopefully some of whom will visit you and share with from personal experience of same.
In the meanwhile there is plenty of literature on Bipolar some of which you may like to browse, David
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
