I dreamt of a Phoenix

**** I was walking through a park, with beautiful flowers and statues everywhere, and as i walked past this peculiar, and colourful(?) statue, i saw its eyes blink..
startled, i jumped back,
and the enormous phoenix bird statue took flight before my eyes;

still reeling from the double shock of seeing the STATUE of a MYTHOLOGICAL bird come to life and fly, i simply couldn't comprehend how this was even possible?! (and i'm an open minded person?!!!)

The phoenix flew in a semi circle straight into the clouds and came back..hovering in one spot, and amazingly enough, started speaking to me.
it said to me: "I am the phoenix, it is through me that J's voice is heard, i am the passion that lives in him, and he has kept me dormant for so long that i am getting restless, i must move on soon."

my heart practically stopped.
luckily, the phoenix understood all my panicked emotions before i could even translate them into words..

he continued: " i will give him till the end of this year, but you must help him,"

in my mind i was asking how, and he answered:

"you must inspire him, and if he cannot be inspired, he must be pushed, even if you push him too hard, you must make him understand that if he does not start singing, using his talent, I, his passion, will leave him, and he will lose his will to sing..you must wake me up! or I will leave!! remember the lesson you read of in 'the alchemist'. I am his destiny, but if he does not claim me, I will move on to a more deserving person."

and with that,
the phoenix turned itself into a cloud and blew away..**

I woke in a panic, with the image of the mythological bird still clear in my minds eye, and the warning that he delivered fresh in my thundering heartbeat...

i knew exactly why this 'spirit' came to visit me, and why in this specific form..
the phoenix is a mythological songbird, with a voice so beautiful the sungod Ra stopped every morning to listen to the bird sing..
it is also known for its ability to renew its life force, by bursting into flames at the end of one life cycle and being reborn from the ashes.
the relevance it has to my husband..: he is also well known for his ability to renew his life, every time our life burns and the ashes are all that are left, he gets up and starts a 'new life' from nothing. nothing.
he also has a vocal ability that is truly astounding.

because he has chosen to be a provider for his family, he hasn't had the opportunity to live his dream.
this must change, now.
i cannot ignore the phoenix's warning.

you see, whether you believe this dream of mine or not, i have had previous dreams, i know when they are dreams, when they are nightmares, and most importantly, i know when they are true...
