Although I still have really bad weight problems something that has helped with regard to my general health in buying fruit chopped up particularly, mango and kiwi, which I have with grape and melon and an occasional bit of strawberry. Does anytone else find buying prechopped fruit s hslp to their physical health? |

100% Jonathan. I really like the chopped fruit, and the frozen seasoned veggies, the pre- torn salads, Bran flakes with skim milk, at bed time. The less junk food I have around the easier it is to stay on a diet. Good going J, |

Thanks for the fantastic ideas, Jonathan & Lynn!
My lowest weight was 107 pounds (which apparently was very unhealthy). My highest weight (right now) is 150 pounds. My ideal weight is 125 pounds, although I'd be happier with 120.
Since I've only had weight problems due to meds (Effexor being the first culprit), and not my whole life, I find it hard to change my eating habits. I'm a real couch potato and tend to eat junk food.
But after I read this, I started buying the containers of chopped fruit ~ canteloupe, honeydew melon, pineapple, grapes & strawberries. What a difference! I also try to snack on cereal in the evening (I'd prefer not to snack at all, but sometimes I can't help myself).
The Seroquel gives me quite the appetite, especially if I don't go to bed within 45 minutes of taking it. Then I have the serious munchies and eat whatever I can get my hands on (once I even had a cream cheese sandwich ).
My next step is to drink more water, go for walks, and try to curb eating after supper. I really want to lose at least some of the weight by December 10th, when I go back to work, and I have to have it all gone by September 5th, my wedding day!
Thanks again for the great suggestions.
