I take 300mg of effexor and if i don't take it or forget to take it i get really sick.. dizzyness, upset stomach like i have to throw up i can't even function at work.
You might want to check out the thread that the administrator started on effexor (is there a withdrawal syndrome and something about how we evaluate medications). Just click on his name and it lists these two threads.
I take 375 mg (actually I did but I am going off it--today I take 175 I think) Anyway I don't get vertigo and if I miss it (which I do alot) I don't get any side effects. But there are people that do and I think if you do then if and when you go off it, it probably has to be extremely gradual.
Hey there I am not sleeping right now because of my severe withdrawl symptoms from Effexor. I was on it for a couple of years and it does make you very ill to skip a dose. Best to get off of it! It is the worst.
