2 nights ago I had an episode.I was left alone for about 10 hrs yet again and when she came home I was really pissed.I was out of my mind,I did'nt remember much of what I said. After about 20 minutes I was fine. She told me alot of how I acted, what I said and why shes afraid of me anymore.I cried, and i couldnt stop crying.I felt so guilty,I hated myself for being that way yet again.
She told me I need help and it's not the kind she can help with.I honestly dont have the courage to omit myself. The way my family is, Id never hear the end of it.Ive told her many times, I wouldnt go out of her feeling guilty.I told her if she wants me to go, she can send me.Does'nt mean I dont want to go.Its just the way I see it.I dont want to go and have her feel its her fault.Id rather her send me then I can go with a clean conscience.
Anyways, we didnt have much time to talk about it.She has off tommorrow(monday) and She said she'll find out what she has to do.
Has anyone done this before?Im kind of terrified.I dont know what to expect.Im scared they may never let me out. |

Well, I went to the hospital. They did not let me go to the 72 hour thingy. That's only if your in extreme stress like I was last week.BUT they did set me up for a 4-5 week program that will teach me how to deal with my illness and how to regain my life.It will cover restructuring my life,a phyche eval,Group threapy,1 on 1 threapy ect.Its 9am to 3 pm 5 days a week for 4-5 weeks.
I go on Friday for more info.I was so nervous and shakey at the hospital that they did an EKG and blood work to check my heart.hearts fine but I got a fatty liver. So I got a lecture and was encouraged to diet better.
I plan on doing alot more exercise soon.Mostly jump rope and boxing type of stuff.I boxed alot before I got hit by a car when I was 18.I look back and think of why I let go of it.I really dont know why,Im think it had to do with my illness somewhat.I remember going back to the gym 4-6 weeks after the accident and couldnt do what I used to.and instead of rebuilding myself I let it go entirely and quit something I did have a passion for.
Well, maybe its time I regained that passion. That and i need to work towards a stable job and life style. |

I went to the hospital and it was just fine. In fact I quite liked it. Having said that, I had some exceptional treatment in that my doctor came to see me every day for however long I wanted to talk. Also, there was a really nice nurse who took the time to talk to me one on one.
At any rate the hospital is no big deal. You can meet people you're okay with talking to and just ignore the others. They have things like cognitive behavior group and exercise and things like that. Let us know how it goes for you Naze.

I went to the emergency room like I was told to. they didnt think I needed the 72 hr this week like i did last week.Anyways after 7 hrs they set me up for a 4-5 week program to restructure my life.I may make a new thread and let everyone know how this will go.Right now I dont know much of what this will do.I go friday for the sign up and start next monday. It'll be 9am to 3pm 5 days a week for 4-5 weeks.Plus the 1 hour drive one way.So more or less Ill be out of the house 8 hrs or more.which is alot for me being that I been a recluse for 9 yrs. |

Welp,In about 9 hrs. I'll be heading to my "new life".I'm just so terrified of how it's going to go.I went on friday for enrolement. and spent an hour talking to a threapist while they asked me questions and all. After her asking me 100's of questions she asked if I had any.I simply asked, Is this the right place for me to be.She said I might benefit from some of it.
That's not encouraging considering it's 9 am to 2 pm and an hour drive each way.wish me luck.I'm afraid ill need it. |

Dear Naze,
I wish you all the very best in this new venture of yours.
I think I would prefer to term it an Advenure for that is indeed what it is.
Good Luck my community friend David
