Hi Ianc...WELCOME to MY THERAPY!!!
MT, for short, is a great site with a ton of information, and support, and great people with a lot of experiences. We are glad you are here!
So...effexor and ibuprofen... Well, I have taken ibuprofen long term now for over 12 years, at least 400mg, though more like 600mg, at least twice a day. During this time frame, I was also on effexor for about 7 years. No one ever told me not to take them together, and several doctors knew I was taking both. And, to my knowledge, I never had any problems. No liver problems that I am aware of, though I don't think I had any liver tests done during that time, but last year, I had a full blood work up, and no problems then. So, I hope that helps a little.
Hope to see more of you around the site. Feel frree to post anywhere. FYI,over on the 'Topics Common to All Support Communities' you will find a more social area, where everyone from the different MI's "come together". Again, Welcome!
