Wow, I was reading around and came across this post I wrote in 2008. So much has happened in so little time, it is amazing.
My know it all 14 year old daughter is now 21 and has a beautiful baby boy who stole my heart the minute I looked at him.
MyTherapy has been here for me over the years and I a very grateful as I still struggle between helping them and enabling them. I am not sure I even know the difference when I need it the most. .
My oldest is 27 and refuses to stop making bad choices over and over again, blaming me in the process and I am to the point of having to stay away from her altogether in order to survive my own life.
It is what it is. It breaks my heart knowing the pain she will suffer but when she is ready, I will be there for her. she first must choose to be happy and stay away from people who make her unhappy.
