Thanks for the advice, Metuka....I tried to post this after your post but there seems to be an error on that post now. Not sure if that is just my computer, or if everyone sees it, but there's just a black block and an "Error"! oh well!
Two stones seem quite a lot in one year, maybe I will have to start an extreme sport or something to ward off the weight! Only joking, i am far too tired, although today I did manage to get up before midday, which is really saying something for me. I have really bad chronic fatigue, associated with my deprssion.
Anyway, so far I can still fit into my clothes...! i also take the birth control pill and sleeping tablets (but only on occasion, try not to take them every night).
Well done for losing some weight since you stopped taking the tablets. It will probably fall off now you are free of them. Did you have any bad withdrawal effects? I have heard dizziness is the main one with citalopram.
Better go now anyway, best wishes and keep up the long walks!
Hi Heather, I'm having problems viewing messages too,in fact it looks like all my posts have desappeared altogether(?)as well as other members' posts. I'm glad I was of some help. I had withdrawal symptoms, but since I gave up the medication at once I think I felt probably worse than most people who stop them gradually.Anyway, the first few days were pretty bad, cold and hot sweat, feeling dizzy and feeling sick, then it gradually got better. As for the chronic fatigue I'm the same everytime I get a bout of depression, which is quite frustrating because otherwise I'm quite an active, outdoorsey person... Anyway, hope you're ok,talk to your gp about your worries..hopefully you'll do better than me with the weight business. Take care
