Hi there... I am new to the forum and I am on the above medications for depression/anxiety. The Dr. said that he put me on this for just that diagnosis. Has anyone else heard of going on those 3 medications for that reason?
i've been put on cymbalta and zyprexa. Not sure about the lamictal. Zyprexa often causes weight gain, and may cause diabeties. This is a concern if you have a family history. The cure is to exercise, unfortunately, in my case. (Seriously, those who exercise for fun are nutter-butters.) The cymbalta doesn't seem to have any weird side effects that I've noticed.
I know it's kind of scary first starting off on medicine, and feeling that you're different than other people because you have this *****tail of medications. But you get into a routine, and it's no different than brushing your teeth in the morning, just something else to keep you healthy.
